Makassar, Indonesia, March 11, 2026/BIONE/—A capacity-building activity related to the development and management of the Thematic Research Group (TRG) website was conducted at LPPM Auditorium Hasanuddin University. The training aimed to enhance participants’ technical skills in organizing, updating, and maintaining website content to ensure accurate and effective dissemination of research outputs and institutional activities.
The session featured two main resource persons, Prof. Ir. Suharman Hamzah, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., HSE Cert. and Prof. Ir. Andi Dirpan, S.TP., M.Si., Ph.D., who delivered the TRG-based Research Orientation. The activity was attended by 30 Leaders of Thematic Research Groups (TRG), accompanied by students and researchers from their respective groups, reflecting a strong institutional commitment to strengthening research communication and digital capacity. The presentation provided an overview of the role of TRGs in fostering research collaboration, enhancing academic productivity, and increasing institutional visibility at both national and international levels. In addition, a Technical Guide to Content Entry session was conducted to introduce participants to the structure and functionality of the TRG website. The training covered step-by-step guidance on how to manage and input content across key sections of the website, including Activities, Research Projects, Publications, Our Team, and Security. Participants were guided on content formatting, data organization, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity across all sections.

The workshop also included an Assisted Website Content Session, where participants were directly supported by facilitators in practicing content entry using real data. This hands-on approach allowed participants to apply the concepts learned during the session, address technical challenges, and improve their confidence in managing digital research platforms. The interactive nature of the activity encouraged active participation and knowledge exchange among attendees. Overall, this training represents an important step in strengthening digital literacy and research communication within the TRG framework. By improving the quality and accessibility of website content, the program supports more effective dissemination of research outputs and enhances institutional visibility.

These efforts are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1 (No Poverty) by supporting sustainable livelihoods through improved access to scientific information, Goal 4 (Quality Education) through capacity building and technical training, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening collaboration among researchers and academic communities.
