WASTE MANAGEMENT LAW
RESEARCH GROUP
The introduction of the Waste Management Act reflects a response to rapid urbanization and industrialization, leading to increased waste generation, pollution and pressure on natural resources. The Act promotes a systematic approach to managing waste and focuses on minimizing environmental damage and advocating responsible waste practices, both nationally and internationally.
