From July 25 to 28, 2025, TRG Social Capital welcomed Prof. Loes Witteveen (VHL University of Applied Sciences) and Dr. Rico Lie (Wageningen University & Research) for a collaborative visit to Enrekang, South Sulawesi. The visit aimed to strengthen joint research on rural transformation and provide academic supervision for a PhD candidate from Universitas Hasanuddin. As part of the visit, the scholars engaged with local government officials, including the Regent of Enrekang, field researchers, and University of Muhammadiyah Enrekang involved in the development of the Digital Farmer Field School (DFFS). This activity is part of the TRG’s commitment to fostering international partnerships and co-creating knowledge that supports sustainable agricultural innovation in rural Indonesia.
