Handing Over Knowledge:Book Launch Highlights DFFS Innovation in Enrekang

In a symbolic moment of international academic partnership, Prof. Loes Witteveen from the Netherlands hands over a copy of the book Collaborative Change: Lessons from Inclusive and Participatory Rural Communication Services, published by FAO-IAMCR, to Prof. Darmawan Salman, Chair of TRG Social Capital at Universitas Hasanuddin. This edited volume features global case studies on participatory communication for rural transformation. Notably, Chapter One is authored by Nurdahalia Lairing et al., a PhD student under the TRG Social Capital group, highlighting the co-design and prototype testing of the Digital Farmer Field School (DFFS) in Enrekang. The moment marks more than a book handoverβ€”it reflects the deepening collaboration between TRG Social Capital and Dutch universities in strengthening inclusive rural communication services and advancing scholarly contributions from Indonesia to the global stage.
