The rising consumption of milk in Indonesia is not accompanied by a corresponding increase in milk production. Promoting milk consumption among children and pregnant women is a key priority for the presidential administration from 2024 to 2029. This underscores the need to optimize domestic milk production. Currently, Indonesia’s dairy milk production is quite low, averaging only 8 to 10 liters per person per day. In contrast, dairy cows in other countries can produce between 30 to 50 liters per cow per day. Several factors contribute to the low levels of dairy milk production in Indonesia. These challenges driveour commitment to ongoing research focused on optimizing milk production. Our innovative approach prioritizes Organic Dairy Farming, making the most of the available local resources.
