The rising consumption of milk in Indonesia is not accompanied by a corresponding increase in milk production. Promoting milk consumption among children and pregnant women is a key priority for the presidential administration from 2024 to 2029. This underscores the need to optimize domestic milk production. Currently, Indonesia’s dairy milk production is quite low, averaging only 8 to 10 liters per person per day. In contrast, dairy cows in other countries can produce between 30 to 50 liters per cow per day. Several factors contribute to the low levels of dairy milk production inIndonesia. These challenges driveour commitment to ongoingresearch focused on optimizing milk production. Our innovative approach prioritizes Organic Dairy Farming, making the most of the available local resources.
Mission
Conducting research to optimize milk production in organic dairy farming involves developing high-quality feed that enhances milk yield, reproductiveperformance, and calf growththrough the use of indigenous products. This approach aims to reduce feed production costs, improve environmental conditions, and effectively utilizewaste generated on dairy farms.
Aim
The aim of this Research Group is to enhance production and dairy quality through organicdairy farming systems. We conduct various studies to optimize milk production, including developing quality feed based on indigenous products. Our goal is to create innovations that not only increase milk production but also improve the welfare of farmers.
Establish a comprehensive theoretical foundation for adaptive public organizations, synthesizing insights from multidisciplinary research over the years.
