Welcome to Non-market Strategy Research Group
The Non-market Strategy Research Group (NMS-TRG) emerges as a strategic initiative to address the growing complexity of business environments where companies must navigate beyond traditional market forces through sophisticated approaches involving governments, regulatory bodies, civil society organizations, and various stakeholders. As a focused, productive, and impactful research group within Universitas Hasanuddin, the NMS-TRG is dedicated to strengthening research capacity in non-market strategy, particularly focusing on strategic corporate social responsibility (CSR) and corporate political activity (CPA) within the Indonesian and Southeast Asian context
Mission
The Non-market Strategy Research Group is committed to conducting rigorous, cutting-edge research that advances theoretical and empirical understanding of non-market strategies, with particular emphasis on emerging market contexts and Indonesian business environments. We foster academic excellence through collaborative projects, high-quality publications, and international partnerships while building institutional capacity to develop the next generation of scholars and practitioners equipped to navigate complex non-market environments
Aim
The primary aim of the Non-market Strategy Research Group is to establish Universitas Hasanuddin as a leading center of excellence for non-market strategy research in Southeast Asia through high-impact research, knowledge translation, capacity building, and regional leadership. We aspire to bridge the gap between academic research and practical application while positioning the university as the premier institution for non-market strategy research in Indonesia and serving as a resource for government agencies, corporations, and NGOs
