Makassar, June 20, 2025 — The Peace, Conflict and Democracy Research Group (TRG) held another coordination meeting on Friday, June 20, 2025. This session focused on finalizing the research instruments and making concrete preparations for the upcoming field data collection.
During the meeting, two key decisions were agreed upon by the team:
- Completion of Research Instruments – June 23, 2025
The team agreed that all research instruments, including interview questions and technical guidelines, must be finalized and ready for use by Monday, June 23, 2025. This timeline ensures that all team members have sufficient time to review and familiarize themselves with the instruments before going into the field. - Online Meeting for Field Preparation – June 25, 2025
As a final step before fieldwork begins, TRG will hold an online meeting on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 8:00 PM (WIB). This meeting will provide a detailed discussion of the finalized research instruments and technical coordination for fieldwork, including interview strategies, location planning, and division of roles among team members.
This meeting reflects TRG’s strong commitment to conducting the research process in a systematic and professional manner. With well-prepared instruments and solid coordination, the team is confident in its ability to gather relevant and in-depth data as a foundation for producing a high-quality academic article.
