PEACE, CONFLICT, DEMOCRACY RESEARCH GROUP

About PEACE-CD Research Group
This research initiative brings together scholars and experts dedicated to addressing some of the most pressing societal challenges: fostering sustainable peace, resolving conflicts through inclusive dialogue, and strengthening democratic resilience in complex political landscapes. The Peace, Conflict, and Democracy Research Group was established to advance multidisciplinary research in these domains, aiming to develop practical policy frameworks that are not only relevant to Indonesia’s socio-political context but also adaptable to regional and global dynamics.
Peace, conflict, and democracy are intricately linked, shaping the foundation of just and equitable societies. In the face of growing polarization, governance issues, and human rights concerns, a comprehensive and evidence-based approach is vital. Our team—comprised of experts from sociology, psychology, political science, public administration, and international relations—works collaboratively to analyze and respond to these complex realities. Through integrative research and policy innovation, we seek to formulate impactful strategies that promote social justice, participatory governance, and a democratic order rooted in human dignity and rights.
