As part of the Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI), BINUS University and Universitas Hasanuddin are jointly organizing a collaborative webinar series that aims to foster academic exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue on pressing environmental and engineering challenges.
The upcoming session of the series will explore the theme:
“Integrated Coastal Design and Engineering: Sustainable Approaches for Resilient Coastal Communities.”
This webinar will feature Prof. Arsyad Thaha from Universitas Hasanuddin as the keynote speaker. Prof. Thaha will share his insights on sustainable coastal infrastructure, integrated coastal zone management, and innovative design strategies that address the growing risks of climate change, sea-level rise, and coastal erosion.
The event brings together researchers, practitioners, and students from across Indonesia to discuss forward-looking approaches in coastal engineering that promote environmental resilience, social inclusivity, and long-term sustainability for coastal communities.
