Developing Research Collaboration between Universitas Hasanuddin and Saga University in Coastal and Hydraulic Engineering
The Coastal Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin, has initiated a Developing Research Collaboration with the Hydraulic Laboratory, Department of Civil Engineering, Saga University, Japan. This collaboration focuses on advancing joint research in the fields of water resources and coastal engineering.
The initiative aims to strengthen academic ties and foster the exchange of knowledge, methods, and expertise between both institutions. Key areas of collaboration include coastal protection, wave dynamics, sediment transport, numerical and physical modeling, and sustainable coastal infrastructure development.
Through joint research activities, academic exchanges, and collaborative seminars, this partnership is expected to generate impactful scientific contributions and support the development of innovative solutions for water-related challenges in Indonesia and Japan.
