UNIVERSITAS HASANUDDIN APPOINTS NEW CHAIR FOR DOCTORAL MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Makassar, 21 November 2025 — Universitas Hasanuddin has officially appointed Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Munir, S.E., M.Si., M.Mktg., C.MP., as the new Chair of the Doctoral Program in Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The appointment follows the conclusion of the term of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, M.T., who has been honorably discharged from the position after years of dedicated service.

The decision was formalized through Rector’s Decree No. 16827/UN4.1/KEP/2025, signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Jamaluddin Jompa. The decree acknowledges Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Munir’s qualifications and leadership capabilities, entrusting him with the responsibility of advancing the doctoral program’s academic and research excellence.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Razak Munir, born in Soppeng on December 6, 1974, is a full professor with the rank of Pembina Utama Madya (IV/d). He is widely recognized for his expertise in marketing and strategic management and has held various academic and administrative roles within the university.

The new appointment also nullifies the previous rectoral decree issued in February 2023, marking a new chapter in the leadership of the doctoral program. The university expressed its gratitude to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus for his contributions and leadership during his tenure.

This leadership transition is part of Universitas Hasanuddin’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its academic programs and fostering innovation in higher education.

Ir. Muhammad Alief Fahdal Imran Oemar, ST., M.Sc

 Muhammad Alief Fahdal Imran Oemar is an academic from Hasanuddin University with a bachelor’s degree in Informatics Engineering. He has an overall SINTA score of 110, with a score of 84 in the last three years. His scientific contributions include various publications, such as “Information System and Village Management to Improve the Regional Economy and Community Productivity” and “Digitalization of MSMEs to Build a Digital Ecosystem for MSME Communities in Sulawesi.” These works reflect his dedication to applying information technology for community empowerment and regional economic development.
