Welcome to our Research Group
The thematic research group of Human Resource Management and Behavioral Research aims to provide research-based solutions by applying the concepts and theories of Human Resource Management in reviewing and understanding various problems and current issues that may impede employee performance and organizational effectiveness which are stemming from inappropriate Human Resource Management systems related to Employee Procurement (recruitment, selection, placement), Competency Building, Career Development, Performance Management, Reward and Punishment Systems, Employee Retention, Occupational Health and Safety, as well as Industrial Relations and Termination of Employment. This research initiative transcends diverse organizational settings (business, government, and social sectors) and scales (micro, small, medium, and large enterprises), providing actionable insights for enhancing Human Resource Management practices and fostering sustainable organizational success.
In addition, this Thematic Research Group also focuses on actual problems on organisation-specific challenges that may arise from individual, group, or organisational structural constraints. This research provides actionable recommendations using Organisational Behavior concepts and theories as an effort to enhance organisational effectiveness and cultivate a productive, satisfied, and committed workforce, characterized by high employee engagement, continuous contributions to organisational success, and long-term dedication to driving business outcomes.
