Supporting Research Development, TRG HortiBB Attended Research Seminar

Saturday, February 22, 2025 – The TRG HortiBB team participated in a Research Seminar themed “Exploring Research Ideas and Increasing Research Collaboration for Beginner Lecturers” organized by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). This activity aims to encourage a culture of research among young academics and provide a forum for young lecturers to hone their research potential, build collaborations, and understand research funding opportunities.

In this seminar, several senior academics, Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Halimah Larekeng, S.P., M.P., Prof. Dr. Halmar Halide, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Dahlang Tahir, S.Si., M.Si., shared insights and strategies in producing quality research and encouraging young lecturers to be more active in scientific publications. The TRG HortiBB team itself was represented by Nuniek Widiayani, SP. MP. who is also a young lecturer from the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture Unhas.

The organization of this seminar also discussed the socialization agenda of the Beginner Lecturer Research Scheme which is one of Unhas’ internal research grant schemes. Through this scheme, LPPM Unhas is committed to continuing to support the development of young academics so that they can play a role in the advancement of science and innovation, both at the national and international levels. TRG HortiBB welcomes this opportunity and plans to actively participate.
