TRG-Concern. The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Hasanuddin University held a contract signing for the Hasanuddin University Beginner Lecturer Research Scheme in 2025. The Unhas Beginner Lecturer Research Program (PDPU) is a research activity for beginner researchers to improve their ability to conduct research in higher education. Friday, April 11, 2025.
The TRG Concer research team again received 2 Unhas Beginner Lecturer Research grants with the titles: Quadruple Helix Model Collaboration in the Implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (Mbg) in Makassar City and Stunting in a Cultural Lens: Public Perception and Its Impact on Child Growth and Development in South Sulawesi. This research theme has strategic relevance to the two main themes of the Thematic Research Group (TRG) Concern of Hasanuddin University, namely Social Mapping Stakeholders and Human Resource Management. And this activity is part of TRG-Concern’s efforts to support and develop the capacity of young lecturers in advancing research to understand conflict dynamics, develop innovative resolution strategies, and encourage fair use of resources.
Head of LPPM Unhas Prof. dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi, Ph.D., Sp.MK(K) motivated the lecturers who received the grant to optimize the resources they have as an initial step towards a sustainable academic career. “This funding is an important starting point for you as young lecturers to develop yourself as researchers. This is also part of our academic obligations in carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” he said.
Secretary of LPPM Prof. Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D., Eng., HSE. added that the allocation of funds for the PDPU scheme this year has increased significantly, in 2024 there were 55 proposals for this year 150 proposals were funded. . This increase is expected to encourage young researchers to produce quality research outputs and, if possible, exceed the targets submitted in the proposal.
