The Shrimp Farming Research Group at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, is a dedicated team of researchers, academics, and industry collaborators focused on advancing sustainable shrimp aquaculture.

The group conducts interdisciplinary research to improve shrimp farming practices, enhance productivity, and address environmental challenges in aquaculture. With Indonesia being one of the world’s largest shrimp producers, the research team is crucial in supporting the industry through innovation, technology transfer, and policy recommendations.
