TRG Hasanuddin University was initiated by the Rector of Hasanuddin University Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc in 2024.  The TRG operates under the direct leadership and guidance of the Rector of Hasanuddin University. The Rector is assisted by an Adhoc Team, which is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of TRG activities. The Adhoc Team consists of representatives from various university units, including Vice-Rectors, University Secretaries, and Deans.
