On June 16, 2025, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Hasanuddin University successfully conducted the contract signing ceremony for research funding recipients under the BIMA (Basis Informasi Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) program – Master’s Thesis Research Scheme 2025.
Among the distinguished recipients, the Nursing Management Healthcare Research Group led by Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, along with team members Dr. Nuurhidayat Jafar, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep and Nindya Febriyani Putri, S.Kep., Ns, officially signed the research contract for their groundbreaking project:
“SAFE-Nurse: Inovasi Digital berbasis AI untuk Mendorong Pelaporan Insiden oleh Perawat di Rumah Sakit”
This innovative research project addresses critical patient safety challenges through AI-powered digital innovation in hospital incident reporting systems. The SAFE-Nurse model (Smart Assisted Feedback & Education for Nurses on Reporting Safety Events) leverages artificial intelligence to transform traditional manual reporting systems into an intelligent, user-friendly platform that enhances incident reporting efficiency and supports nurses in improving patient safety practices.
The research funding is provided through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) under Director’s Decree No. 0419/C3/DT.0500/2025, dated May 22, 2025.
This contract signing marks a significant milestone in advancing healthcare technology and patient safety research at Universitas Hasanuddin, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to innovative research that directly impacts healthcare quality and patient outcomes.
