Coastal Community Development Research Group

Welcom to Our Research Group

The Coastal Community Development Research Group (CORE) is an interdisciplinary research initiative that focuses on the sustainability, resilience, and empowerment of coastal communities. In response to the growing pressures of climate change, marine resource depletion, and socio-economic vulnerability, CORE seeks to bridge scientific knowledge, local wisdom, and policy innovation to develop effective solutions for coastal development. CORE emphasizes participatory, inclusive, and context-specific approaches by involving local stakeholders in every stage of research and implementation. Through research, capacity building, and collaborative innovation, CORE envisions coastal communities that are environmentally sound, economically sustainable, and socially empowered.
