About Our Research Group

Our research group specializes in power system analysis and modeling, with the overarching goal of ensuring the long-term stability and reliability of modern electrical grids. Our work spans diverse areas, including voltage and frequency stability enhancement, to deepen the understanding of dynamic power systems under high renewable penetration. Additionally, we incorporate advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and hybrid computational methods to optimize the seamless integration of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar photovoltaics (PV), into existing networks.

Based at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin in Gowa, Indonesia, our team brings together robust analytical expertise and practical engineering experience. We have established strong research partnerships globally, notably serving as an international partner for the Australian Government’s Reliable, Affordable and Clean Energy (RACE) for 2030 program. Our group is actively engaged in collaborative research, successfully pursuing both national and international grant opportunities, and publishing impactful findings in high-tier international journals

Mission

Our mission is to advance the resilience and sustainability of modern power systems through rigorous research encompassing grid stability, intelligent optimization, and renewable energy integration. We strive to deepen scientific understanding of dynamic grid behaviors, foster global collaborations, and drive innovative, AI-driven solutions to mitigate the intermittency of clean energy sources, while contributing to the creation of robust and reliable electrical infrastructures.

AIM

The aim of our research group is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy by conducting cutting-edge research on power system stability and multi-source renewable energy integration. We focus on developing advanced, AI-based grid optimization strategies that resolve technical bottlenecks and enhance the overall resilience, security, and efficiency of future power networks
