On July 8, 2025, the Chair of the TRG Blue Economics, Dr. Hasmin, led a meeting with team member Prof. Darmawan and international partner Dr. Lucio Marcal Gomes from Timor Leste. The discussion focused on the interim findings of the ongoing research and explored the possibility of conducting further data collection in Timor Leste. The team also discussed expanding the partnership network by involving new collaborators from other developing countries, in line with the TRG’s commitment to advancing community-based blue economy development across the Global South.
