Welcome and thank you for visiting our research group’s official website. Our research group aims to improve beef productivity and quality through the application of production science and technology, particularly in developing local beef cattle, specifically Bali Polled cattle, a native Indonesian breed. Bali Polled cattle have been developed in the Beef Livestock Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University, since 2004 and are currently being field-tested in several regencies in South Sulawesi. We would be delighted if you could follow the progress of this research, contribute to it, read and provide feedback on the development of science, technology, and innovation, as well as its downstream products related to the development of this cattle, until it becomes a superior cattle breed ready for sustainable use and breeding in the community livestock industry or smallholder Farming. This beef cattle research focuses on how polled cattle can be developed into superior cattle with high meat production and good quality. Ultimately, the development of polled cattle can contribute significantly to the national food supply of animal origin and contribute to the implementation of President Prabowo’s priority program, Asta Cita.
