Welcome to our Research Group
Lung infections remain one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, posing a serious challenge to global public health. In Indonesia, the burden of lung infections is particularly high, with diseases such as tuberculosis and pneumonia affecting millions each year. Vulnerable populations, especially children and the elderly, face the greatest risk of severe illness and death. This situation highlights the urgent need for collaborative research and innovative solutions. A deep and comprehensive understanding of the causes, risk factors, and progression of lung infections is essential to develop more effective strategies for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. The Pneumonia Research Group is committed to advancing knowledge and contributing impactful findings to help reduce the burden of these infections.
