Factors Influencing the Willingness to Seek Dental and Oral Health Services in Coastal Communities

This study investigates the factors influencing the willingness of coastal communities to seek dental and oral health services. Focusing on the residents of Pulau Sarappo Lompo, Kecamatan Mattiro Langi, Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan, the research examines both internal factors, such as awareness, knowledge, and personal attitudes, and external factors, including accessibility, healthcare facilities, and financial constraints. Through surveys and statistical analysis, the study aims to identify key barriers to dental healthcare utilization and propose strategies to improve access and awareness in remote coastal communities.
