Public health is a crucial topic of discussion, particularly concerning the health of coastal and island communities. Indonesia, with its vast number of coastal and island populations, requires special attention and in-depth studies to address related health challenges. The low quality of health in these communities poses significant implications for achieving the Indonesian government’s health targets outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
