This invention relates to the composition of herbal ingredients, namely galangal; kencur; temu kunci; temulawak; temu ireng; ginger; betel leaf; turmeric; garlic; basil; lemongrass and shallots. The herbal ingredients can be used as feed additives in liquid and powder form because they have natural bioactive substances as an alternative to broad-spectrum synthetic antibiotics. Able to inhibit Gram-positive pathogenic bacteria (Staphylococcus auneus, Staphylococcus faecalis, Pseudomonas aerogenos, Bacillus subtillis) and Gram-negative (Salmonella pullorum, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella senlftenberg, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, E. coli motil, E. coli nonmotil) through in vitro tests and challenge tests using Salmonella pullorum and able to inhibit viruses (as an anti-virus) through in vivo is test (Pelikine kit) with the right dose, either for use of 2.5 ml/liter in drinking water or 0.15%/kg ration in powder form.
