Makassar, Indonesia – On 09 April 2026, the Research and Technology Group (TRG) Batch 5 successfully held a focused activity entitled Website Security Activity Enhancement, conducted at the Aula LPPM Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS). The event brought together 89 participants consisting of students, researchers, and digital practitioners who are actively engaged in technology-based research and community development initiatives.
In an era where digital infrastructure has become the backbone of academic and public service institutions, ensuring the integrity and security of web-based platforms is no longer optional it is a fundamental responsibility. This activity was designed with a clear purpose: to strengthen and elevate the security framework of the TRG website, ensuring that the platform remains trustworthy, resilient against cyber threats, and capable of serving its users with full reliability.
The activity covered a series of structured sessions encompassing vulnerability assessments, security protocol updates, access management improvement, and best practices in web security governance. Participants were guided through both theoretical frameworks and practical demonstrations, empowering them with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to identify, mitigate, and prevent potential digital threats.
