About

Introduction

As an integrated geological, geochemical and geophysical research group, we solve management, exploration, exploitation, utilization and conservation of earth resources with applied geoscientific research projects. We support our members by providing professional development opportunities through research, short courses, workshops and in-house training and service. ERMRG partners use our research to enhance the value of their management (including exploration and exploitation) on earth resources projects.

Mission

To distribute, communicate and promote the environmentally-friendly and economically-viable earth resources management, utilization and conservation using geology, geochemistry and geophysic method to support national development agenda and international network.

Aim

The Earth Resources Management Research Group (ERMRG) is a special interest research group associated to Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. The purpose of the group is to study earth resources including management, exploration, exploitation, utilization and conservation of mineral deposits both metal and non-metal including industrial minerals, source of energy from the earth, both conventional (oil, gas, geothermal, coal) and renewable (water, hydrogen, geothermal, radioactive), rare earth and critical metal (smart materials), as well as energy transition issues and other earth resources topics including carbon capture storage, clean coal technology and geopark. In addition, we also concern on technology application in earth resource exploration and exploitation method.
