Research Group Overview

Roadmap

Research Sub-Theme

1.   Prospective Cardiovascular Registry

Build a standardized registry for ACS, heart failure, arrhythmia, and complex PCI patients to generate real-world outcome data.

2.   High-Quality Clinical Research -> PIENTER study

Conduct observational and interventional studies addressing locally relevant cardiovascular questions, targeting peer-reviewed publications and presentations at meetings in international congresses such as the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) congress.

3.   Risk Prediction Models

Create clinically applicable models for outcomes such as ACS mortality, heart-failure readmission, and post-PCI complications using local datasets.

4.   Evidence Into Practice

Implement and evaluate clinical pathways to improve key metrics (e.g., door-to-balloon time, GDMT adherence, rehospitalization rates).

5.   Research Capacity and Collaboration

Train residents and fellows in research methodology, expand multicenter collaborations, and sustain a productive cardiovascular research network.

Aims

  1. Establish a Prospective Cardiovascular Registry
  2. Produce High-Quality Clinical Research
  3. Develop and Validate Risk Prediction Models
  4. Translate Evidence Into Practice
  5. Build Research Capacity and Collaboration
