Welcome to Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Research Group
The Wildlife Ecology & Conservation Research Group (WildEV RG) is dedicated to becoming a leading and credible research center in biodiversity and ecosystem conservation across the Indonesian archipelago. Strategically based in the heart of the Wallacea Bioregion—a living mesocosm of Indonesia’s wild ecosystems—we are uniquely positioned with direct access to diverse research sites. This geographical advantage enables us to spearhead Wallacea-based conservation research, pioneering innovative solutions to pressing ecological challenges.
Mission
- To explore and conduct in depth study on the conservation of biodiversity in various Indonesian archipelago ecosystems
- To formulate conservation strategies and sustainable utilization efforts of biodiversity
- To disseminate the results of studies on the conservation of biodiversity in Indonesian archipelago ecosystems for the benefit of the community
Aim
To become a credible and excellent research center for biodiversity and ecosystem conservation of the Indonesian Archipelago
