Capacity Building on Urban Governance for Pinrang District Healthy District Team and Forum to Realize SDGs 11 (Building Inclusive, Safe, Resilient and Sustainable Cities and Settlements)

The Team of Trustees and the Healthy District/City Forum are part of the Healthy District/City Forum which is tasked with formulating policies to support the implementation of Healthy District/City, coordinating and synergizing policies across sectors, assisting in the administration and collection of data on the implementation of Healthy District/City activities, and assisting in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of Healthy District/City. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the understanding of the Pinrang Healthy District Team and Forum in governance for the health and welfare of Pinrang District. It is hoped that this improvement will benefit the development team and forum, which has been considered challenging and able to get Pinrang Healthy District registered in the WHO South-East Asia Regional Healthy Cities Network (SEAR HCN). There is a need to recognize that better governance can contribute to improved health and well-being, and this change is expected to overcome some of the obstacles or challenges that may have been faced by the advisory team and forum previously.

This research aims to develop dimensions and indicators of social prescription among the elderly in accordance with the local context of Makassar City Indonesia and develop a model of social prescription among the elderly in accordance with the local context of Makassar City Indonesia.

The Influence of Social Prescription Factors on Improving the Health and Mental Wellbeing of the Elderly in Makassar City

Social Prescribing Social prescribing is a holistic, community-based approach that aims to address unmet non-medical needs and connect older adults with community resources according to interests, desires and hobbies with the aim of improving older adults' mental health and well-being. According to the National Social Prescribing Network, social prescribing models include various forms of community interventions such as, music clubs, sports, arts, neighborhood activities, volunteering, learning and education. A study conducted in Korea on evaluating the impact of the social prescription model showed that loneliness levels were reduced by social participation attitudes. The level of depression is reduced and the self-esteem of the elderly increases. The influence of the Social Prescription Model Factor according to the local context of the elderly in Makassar City is very necessary to be researched in order to direct efforts to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for the elderly, can design a better holistic approach for the elderly, prevent the emergence of health and welfare problems for the elderly, and can help long-term investment in programs and resources designed to promote the health and welfare of the elderly in Makassar City.
