Unhas Fly Research Group

Welcome to the official website of Unhas Fly Research Group (UFRG)

Our mission at the Unhas Fly Research Group (UFRG) is to advance the understanding of biological phenomena through the innovative use ofย Drosophila melanogaster. By leveraging the unique advantages of fly systems, we aim to contribute to the discovery of novel therapeutics and deepen our knowledge of fundamental biological processes that are relevant to human health.

ย

At the UFRG, our research is driven by a commitment to uncovering new knowledge and developing innovative approaches that can advance the field of biomedical science. Our work is focused on several key areas that leverage the unique capabilities of Drosophila melanogaster. Through these efforts, we aim to accelerate drug discovery, explore novel pharmacological effects, investigate critical cellular and molecular mechanisms, and enhance our understanding of physiological responses. These aims are central to our mission of contributing to the development of new therapeutic strategies and expanding our understanding of biological processes with significant implications for human health.
