About Safos
The research on sago palm has been actively conducted since 2014 in Hasanuddin University.  The World Sago Research Center building is the home of our team which act as the hub to the sago research and stakeholders’ consultation center including the promotion of advanced research such as liquid sugar production based on sago starch.

Welcome
Research on sago palm has been actively conducted since 2012 in Hasanuddin University which rooted in transdisciplinary approach. The world sago center is our home, from local to international researchers, we grow together with local communities, governments and other stakeholders who are closely involved in the sago value chain.
