Welcome to our Research Group

Rice is an essential part of the world economy, including Indonesia.  Indonesians use rice as their leading staple food. It is a natural step for the president and the Indonesian government to prioritize food security programs based on the adequacy of rice production in Indonesia. However, food security for rice is quite challenging in terms of extensification, intensification, and socioeconomics. Massive development has reduced the optimal land area for rice production. In addition, climate change’s challenges, such as salinity, drought, submergence, etc., have further exacerbated rice production in Indonesia. Therefore, solution programs are needed to maintain this resilience.
