Power system research group utilizes computational intelligence methods for solving wide-area problems including distributed generation planning, real-time simulation, renewable energy especially photovoltaic system includes MPP control, inverter configuration, partially shaded cases and fault-tolerant for household PV application and intelligent control application to power system includes artificial neural network, fuzzy logic control, genetic algorithm, evolutionary algorithm, particle swarm optimization and chaos theory.
