Plant Biocontrol and Natural Product

Welcome to our Research Group

Plant Biocontrol and Natural Product (PBNP) Research Groups focus on developing natural agents for pests and disease management with natural methods by exploring and Utilizing plant material and fungi. This group comprises researchers from disease, pests, and phytochemistry. The research about Natural Plant Extracts/botanicals and semiochemicals with attractant, repellent, or insecticidal properties are used in conjunction with the fungi to create innovative pest control strategies that willΒ “lure and kill”Β orΒ “confuse and kill”Β the targeted insects 2. microbial antagonists fungus (exp: trichoderma) with combination /synergism of plant extract natural product as biocontrol agent against pests and diseases.
