Maritime Governance and Sustainable Governance Reserach Group as a of The Department of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), through its Master of Public Administration Program, participated in the International Seminar on Social Innovation in Glocation Tourism organized by the Management of Development College, Thaksin University, Thailand, on Tuesday, 13 May 2025. The event brought together academics from across ASEAN and served as an important platform for exchanging ideas
and cross-border research findings.
Held in Bangkok, the seminar was also attended by lecturers and students from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). UNHAS delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Gita Susanti, Head of the Master of Public Administration Program, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Alwi, Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences at FISIP UNHAS. Also present were Dr. Sulaiman Mappiasse, Andi Ahmad Yani, M.Si., MPA., M.Sc., Irma Ariyanti Arif, S.Sos., M.Si., and Nuralamsyah Ismail, S.Sos., MA. In addition, 20 students from the Master of Public Administration and Master of Political Science programs also participated in the event.
