Β Welcome to Ethno Literature Research Group
Literature is a unique field of study about the relationship between certain ethnic groups and literary heritage, especially the literature they have inherited from generation to generation. This field combines two different fields: 1) ethnic literature, exploring the experiences, identities, and cultural heritage of certain ethnic groups through stories or oral narratives that are full of meaning and moral messages in maintaining their identity. Oral literature in this context can be in the form of fairy tales, pantun, expressions, advice, poems, proverbs, ancestral messages, songs, and mantras, 2) ethnographic literature, referring to the academic and systematic study of individual and collective culture practiced in everyday life.
