The Drug Efficacy and Medication Safety Research Group (DREaMS) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hasanuddin University, is dedicated to enhancing the therapeutic potential of drugs/natural products/supplements and promoting the safety use of medicines..
Mission
The long-term goal is to contribute to the development of safe and effective evidence-based treatments that can optimize patient care and disease management.
AIM
- Understanding the basic science behind drug actions, including the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the drugs.
- Developing animal models and techniques to support drug efficacy and safety research.
- Translating basic research findings and technological tools into clinical studies and patient care.
The primary objectives are:
Ensuring that drug use or safety guidelines improve patient outcomes while minimizing risks.
