Our research group specializes in dairy feed management and technology, animal behavior, and animal genetics and breeding programs, with the primary goal of increasing goat milk production and quality. Our work covers various fields related to optimizing goat milk production, including studies on the effects of the tropical environment and environmental management to improve goat comfort, the production of superior replacement stock through gene identification and the implementation of breeding programs, the use of locally sourced feed and engineering technology to optimize digestibility, and the development of nutrigenomic feed.
