The rapid advancement of digital technology has profoundly transformed the landscape of dental science and forensic investigation. In contemporary dental practice, the integration of digital tools not only enhances diagnostic precision and clinical efficiency but also introduces new possibilities for forensic identification and medico-legal documentation. Recognizing this paradigm shift, the Digital Forensic Dentistry Innovation Group (DFDIG) was established within the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Hasanuddin, as a pioneering thematic research group committed to advancing scientific innovation in digital dental forensics.
