The Deforestation and Degradation Research Group (DForestGrad) is an interdisciplinary research consortium established to address the critical and complex challenges posed by deforestation and land degradation, with a particular emphasis on tropical regions, especially the Wallacea biogeographic zone a globally significant area of high biodiversity that is increasingly threatened by land use change and weak resource governance.
