Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry Research Group
Welcome to our Research Group
Chemical Biology examines the functions of biological systems through chemical methodologies, while Medicinal chemistry involves the design and enhancement of molecules to make novel pharmaceuticals or refine current ones. It entails employing chemical methodologies to formulate and synthesis novel compounds that are both safe and efficacious.
Sub-Themes of Our Research Group
1. Chemical Biology
We focus on developing and utilizing chemical methodologies to address fundamental inquiries regarding biological functioning.
2. Medicinal Chemistry
Our research revolve around the identifying and manufacturing small compounds that selectively bind to target proteins and modify their activity therapeutically.
