About Biovax Tubercolusis

Welcome to the BioVax TB Research Group at Universitas Hasanuddin. We are a team of researchers working together to find better ways to prevent tuberculosis (TB), a disease that still affects millions of people worldwide.

Our work focuses on developing vaccines that can protect people from TB, whether it affects the lungs or other parts of the body. We use modern scientific methods to understand how the disease works and how the human immune system responds to it. From there, we design and test potential vaccines to make them safer and more effective.

Beyond research, we are committed to improving global health by helping reduce the spread of TB. Through collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, we aim to turn scientific discoveries into real solutions that benefit communities around the world.

Our Mission

Conduct Innovative Research

To carry out high-quality research using modern methods and technologies to develop new tuberculosis (TB) vaccine candidates.

Build Collaborative Networks

To work with national and international partners, encouraging knowledge sharing and strengthening vaccine development efforts.
