Guest Lecture on Technopreneurship by External Collaborator TRG AIMP, Dr. Misita Anwar

On April 29, 2025, the Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia Processing Thematic Research Group (TRG AIMP) successfully organized a guest lecture delivered by its external collaborator, Prof. Misita Anwar. Conducted via Zoom Meeting, the event attracted more than 100 participants, including students, researchers, academics, and aspiring entrepreneurs from various institutions. This activity served as an important platform to bridge academic knowledge with real-world innovation in the field of technopreneurship.

The primary objective of this guest lecture was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how technological innovation—particularly in artificial intelligence and digital systems—can be transformed into sustainable business opportunities. Prof. Misita Anwar shared insights on the fundamentals of technopreneurship, emphasizing the integration of scientific research, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset to address real-world problems. The session also highlighted practical strategies for developing technology-based startups, including idea validation, product development, scalability, and market adaptation.

Throughout the lecture, participants were introduced to case studies and real examples of successful technology-driven enterprises. These examples illustrated how innovative ideas, when supported by strong research and collaboration, can generate economic value and social impact. The interactive discussion session further enabled participants to engage directly with the speaker, raising questions about challenges in startup development, funding opportunities, and the role of academic institutions in fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Furthermore, the event strongly reflects SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, as it exemplifies collaboration between academic research groups and external experts. The involvement of Prof. Misita Anwar as a collaborator demonstrates the importance of cross-institutional partnerships in advancing knowledge, innovation, and societal impact.

In addition, the lecture indirectly contributes to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, as technology-based innovations often lead to solutions that improve quality of life, including in healthcare and digital well-being sectors.

Overall, this guest lecture successfully fostered a deeper understanding of technopreneurship among participants while strengthening collaboration between academia and external experts.
