TRG Adaptive Public Organization Explores Research Direction on Adaptive Public Organizations

On Friday, August 29, the TRG Adaptive Public Organization team held a virtual discussion via Microsoft Teams with Dr. Asiyah Kassim, an external researcher from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Prof. Gita Susanti, M.Si, Chair of TRG. The session reviewed the initial results of data mining to identify potential research topics, with a primary focus on adaptive public organizations. The discussion highlighted that adaptive public organizations demonstrate varying levels of adaptability depending on their scale and context—some can respond and adjust quickly, while others remain limited. The research team emphasized the importance of defining a clear research aim as the foundation for a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), ensuring that the final article remains focused and aligned with its objectives. The team also agreed that prioritizing the quality of selected articles over quantity is essential, while taking into account comparative perspectives between Indonesia and Malaysia. The meeting concluded with a commitment to establish a structured research timeline to guide the systematic development of the article.
