Pre-research in Tanah Beru, Bulukumba Regency

The Adaptive Public Organization Research Group from the Department of Public Administration, Hasanuddin University, conducted a field survey and pre-research discussion with pinisi boat entrepreneurs in Tanah Beru, Bonto Bahari District, Bulukumba Regency. This activity is an initial step in formulating the focus and direction of research that is relevant to local conditions, especially in the context of developing the adaptive capacity of communities based on Community-Based Tourism (CBT). The discussion was in-depth and participatory, exploring the experiences, challenges, and local potential of tourism entrepreneurs based on culture and local wisdom. This activity is an important part of building a contextual and applicable research foundation, while strengthening the synergy between the academic world and the local community. Through this collaborative approach, it is hoped that the research that will be developed in the future will be able to provide a real contribution to strengthening the adaptive capacity of tourism actors in Bulukumba, as well as supporting the development of the community-based tourism sector in a sustainable manner.
